The view cut manager allows you to create a view cut and to activate, reposition, edit, copy, rename, delete, or customize a previously created view cut. When you display view cuts for output database data in the Visualization module, the manager also enables you to activate and deactivate display of the resultant forces and moments for the displayed view cut. The following sections describe how to create and manage view cuts and, for results data in the Visualization module, the display of their associated resultant force and moment vectors:
“Creating or editing a view cut,” Section 80.2.1
“Displaying a cut section and its resultant force and moment vectors,” Section 80.2.2
“Allowing for multiple free body cuts,” Section 80.2.3
“Repositioning a view cut,” Section 80.2.4
“Copying, renaming, and deleting a view cut,” Section 80.2.5
“Customizing the cap color for a view cut,” Section 80.2.6
“Customizing the cut model display in the Visualization module,” Section 80.2.7
“Customizing display and calculation of resultant force and moment on the active view cuts,” Section 80.2.8
“Customizing slicing options,” Section 80.2.9
