To produce a tabular report of X–Y data objects, field output results, or free body cuts, you first specify the report content, format, and destination. Abaqus/CAE generates the report when you apply these customization selections.
To produce a report of probe values, you first produce and then probe a model or X–Y plot. While probing, you can select probe values of interest and you can write the selected values to a file.
Depending on your selections, your report may include negative element labels. Negative labels indicate internal elements created by Abaqus/CAE. These elements are given negative labels so you can easily distinguish them from elements that you created while defining the model.
