To submit a job for analysis, select JobSubmitjob of your choice from the main menu bar. You can also submit a job for analysis by selecting the job name in the Job Manager and clicking Submit. Abaqus/CAE submits the job for analysis using the job settings defined in the job editor.

When you start an Abaqus/CAE session and submit an analysis job, Abaqus sends messages to Abaqus/CAE indicating the current status of the job, and Abaqus/CAE updates the Status column in the Job Manager accordingly.
