The items in the File menu allow you to create, open, and save model databases; open and close output databases; import and export files; save and load session objects and options; run scripts; manage macros; print viewports; and exit Abaqus/CAE. The items in the Model menu allow you to open, copy, rename, and delete the models in the current model database. For more information, see “Managing models,” Section 9.8.

The items in the Viewport menu allow you to create or manipulate viewports and viewport annotations. For more information, see Chapter 4, “Managing viewports on the canvas.”

The items in the View menu allow you to manipulate views, customize certain aspects of the appearance of your model or plots, control display performance, switch to full screen mode, and turn off the display of the Model Tree, the Results Tree, and individual toolbars.
