Products: Abaqus/Standard Abaqus/Explicit
Benefits: You can now specify the rate-dependent yield for the isotropic component of the nonlinear isotropic/kinematic plasticity model using yield stress ratios.
Description: In previous releases the rate-dependent yield for the isotropic component of the isotropic/kinematic plasticity could be specified only using the direct entry of the test data. Now, it can also be defined using the yield stress ratios. The yield stress ratios can be defined using the Cowper-Symonds overstress power law or the Johnson-Cook law or as a tabular function.
