6.3 Enhancements to the parallel rheological framework

Products: Abaqus/Standard  Abaqus/Explicit

Benefits: You can now specify stiffness ratios that can depend on temperature and predefined field variables. In addition, material models defined using the parallel rheological framework are now supported in the steady-state transport procedure.

Description: In material models defined within the parallel rheological framework, stiffness ratios are used to scale the elastic response of each network material. In previous releases these ratios were constant throughout the analysis. Now you can define the stiffness ratios as functions of temperature and predefined field variables.

In addition, the material models defined using the parallel rheological framework can now be used in a steady-state transport analysis. However, in this case the material definition cannot include plasticity.
